Last year was a jam packed year filled with unforgettable weddings. This was one of my favorites from last year. Destination wedding was in Da Lat, Vietnam.
William and Phuc had there special day at the Ana Mandara Villa Resort & Spa in Da Lat, Vietnam. It’s been a prime location for destination weddings in the last few years. The cool San Francisco like weather is a reason I can see why it’s so popular. Being only an hour away from Saigon it’s easy to explore the area.
We began the day with getting ready shots of the bride and her first look. After we did individual portraits we headed to the brides family house where they held a traditional Vietnamese Tea Ceremony. The room was filled with family, laughter, and emotions. I love tea ceremonies so much just because it’s such a sacred ritual of love in the Asian culture. After the tea ceremony we proceeded to the bride and grooms second looks and we took another round of portraits. The rest of the evening was spent listening to speeches from friends, singing karaoke, and eating mouthwatering Vietnamese food.
